We're finishing up our first week of homeschooling in the Osborn house. I plan to make this High/Low post a weekly feature, we'll see. For week 1-
High-getting to spend quality time w/ both girls learning, getting one on one time with Avery, watching her face light up when something "clicks", watching her in her element-creating-
Low-Realizing that this is going to be a lot of work for me (yes, I did know that before we made this decision, but reality hit this week), one day, McKenna was watching TV while I was working with Avery. McKenna ran into the room to tell Avery that Hanna Montana was on. From then on for the next 30 minutes, Ave didn't want to do school. She's realizing the new schedule will prevent her from doing things she's used to doing. After the initial tantrum, she was just fine, though.
Overall, we had a great week! Looking forward to what next week has in store...
