Well, if you don't like the weather in Kansas, just wait, it will change. And change it did! Yesterday, we hid in our house with the blinds closed and the AC on high. Today, we're enjoying the mild morning weather, coloring outside.
Last Christmas, G & G Keating got the girls subscriptions to highlights and high five magazines. The girls love getting mail each month and going thru the magazines. Recently, we started getting Hidden Playgrounds, which is kind of like I spy. They LOVE it! This is what we've been doing all morning, with the exception of a quick trip to Panera for breakfast. The best thing about the hidden playgrounds is that is has an answer key in the back, something I spy books don't have. A good tool for parents who want to act like they can see everything!
So, if you live in Kansas, make sure you get outside sometime today. Because, remember, it WILL change again!

Mom and Dad called and invited us up there. I already had breakfast, so I didn't get anything. But I thought of you when I saw the Dutch Apple bagels. Does that count? The girls wolfed down pumpkin muffies.
